I shared these flats on my Instagram last night, I have been wearing them non stop. I love a pop of color, and I love how they can take the most casual of outfit and dress it up! While I do love me some color, I was seriously considering these amazing neutral blush tone ones, or these really fun textured black ones! They are currently 20% OFF right now at Nordstrom. You wont be disappointed, you will wear them with everything.

Anthropologie also has a killer sale going on right now with 20% OFF your ENTIRE order! USE CODE: XOXO And yes this applies to sale items as well, so you can get some great deals this weekend. I have been eyeing this dress in the sale sections. And I am super tempted to get this top, I just think it would look great with jeans and some flats, like the Halogen ones I just shared! haha Oh and this amazing shirt dress! But don't forget their home section, I love love love this candles and have been wanting to get this coconut milk + mango one for forever! I put together some great finds here:

Every Day Fit & $50 Kohl's Giveaway!

I am going to be perfectly honest. I didn't appreciate high waisted underwear until after I had a baby. I had done a lot of research about what I would want or need after having a baby, and a good pair of comfortable, high waisted (especially if you have an a c-section) underwear kept popping up on the list. It is one of the things that I was SO happy I had with me after having Ella.

I have also come to appreciate some shape wear post baby. You mamas know what I am talking about. There is a little "extra" that wasn't there before for most of us, and it has to go somewhere! haha Shape wear just makes that transition of postpartum a little easier when putting on old clothes again. Kohl's has an amazing selection of shape wear!

I learned a few years ago how great Kohl's selection was for bras, and their underwear department is just as impressive! They have something to fit every occasion in life; post baby, body con dress, yoga pants, you get the idea? I love their selection of boy shorts, those were my favorite to wear when I was younger, or even when I am working out. Check out their massive selection to find something that suits what your day looks like! Here are some of my picks:

Kohl's is actually having a great sale on their panties and underwear right now, most of their styles are buy one get one 1/2 off. I am also hosting a giveaway for a $50.00 Gift Card to Kohl's to get you started. Check it out on Instagram! Giveaway ends Sunday night!

This post was sponsored by Kohls. All opinions are my own!

JTV Jewelry & Giveaway!

So often Valentine's Day is centered around a significant other, when I think it is much better to focus on anyone who is special in your life. I recently talked about this in my post about the Galentine's Day Brunch my friend hosted for a bunch of her girlfriends. It was fun to just have some girl time and talk about appreciating our friends and loving ourselves.  Celebrating the love in your friendships and relationships with others is just as fun as having a hot date ;) But either way, if you are looking for a gift for your friend, your husband, your boyfriend, you name it, JTV has something for everyone!

Seriously. They put together a great Valentine's Day Gift Guide which you should probably check out. I mean they have Darth Vader cuff links, does it get much better then that? haha They have gifts for children, and your more classic pieces for women. They have it all. They even offer the ability for you to design your own pieces.

In honor of Valentine's Day coming up this weekend, I am teaming up with JTV to give away this bracelet. I picked it because first off, I am a total sucker for Turquoise anything, and this piece is GORGEOUS. I love the bright classic teal and the green center. Southwestern is my thing when it comes to turquoise jewelry, and this is beautifully crafted in sterling silver. This piece is high quality, and retails for well over $200. I also like that it is something more for the every day, and you can get a lot of wear out of. If you want to win this bracelet for you or a friend, head on over to my Instagram to enter. I like to keep my giveaways super simple so it is easy peasy! Giveaway ends tomorrow night. GOOD LUCK!

Winter Holiday Looks for You and Your Little

Last week Ella and I had the pleasure of doing a little Mommy and Me Winter Holiday Style shoot with some other blogging ladies. Ella LOVED being around all the little kids and couldn't keep her eyes off of them! haha She was so curious and was "talking" up a storm. Gosh I love this little girl :)

Anywhoooo, we all put together different looks for the Holidays, from casual to dressy, there are some adorable ideas for your littles and you! Ella and I went for a more casual look, but added some nicer elements to the overall ensemble

I kept it simple in this super cozy sweater, and this fun herringbone vest that I got at a boutique years ago, but Target has a pretty similar one, as does JCREW. I paird this with some trusty leggings, and made the outfit feel a little nicer buy wearing some knee length heeled boots. You could make this outfit even more casual and comfortable by opting for these boots which are a favorite of mine right now for everyday wear!

Ella wore a similar colored combo in this black and white number from Carters. Who doesn't love Carters for babies? Everything they do I want in MY size! haha. The adorable glitter head band is from one of our favorite bow shops, Sticky Bliss, and the purple Moccs are from the amazing Freshly Picked

I'M LOVING: Fall/Winter Style with Old Navy

Last year I re-discovered Old Navy. When I was younger my family and I would shop there all the time. Who remembers the annual sandal sale? My mom, sisters and I would go and stock up on tons and tons of sandals every summer when they had that sale! It was the best. But somewhere between the start of high school and college I stopped shopping there. Then last fall a friend of mine posted about a pair of adorable jeans she had got and I was shocked to find that she had picked them up from Old Navy of all places. When I went to go check them out for myself I was blown away with all the great good, and stylish clothes they had for such a great price! I was hooked.

I love Old Navy the best in the fall because since living in Utah I am all about the perfect sweater, and Old Navy always does amazing sweaters! They knock it out of the park with their pants and flannels as well. I decided to put together a round up of all my favorite Old Navy picks from their fall/winter line so far. Make sure you sign up for their e-mails because they are ALWAYS running some sort of sale. Beware though, it can be dangerous to always see that in your inbox! For example right now you can get up to 60% OFF with their Veterans Day Sale! Plus you can get even more savings by using the code ENJOY to get 40% OFF an order of over $100. I used these both and scored some great stuff for an awesome deal.

Here are some of my favorite picks and things I actually got! I almost hit the whole alphabet that is how much good stuff there is right now! haha

Brit Nicole Photography - Mountain Maternity

A little bit ago now I was able to get some pictures taken by the adorable Brit Nicole Photography, you may recognize her from the photos she did for me for the Target Maternity Campaign I was apart of. I even was able to convince Trevor to take a few pictures with me. He is "lucky" that he broke his foot not too shortly after this or he would have had to take even more pictures with me throughout this pregnancy, you know, his favorite past time ever ;) We took these up near the mountains and I can't get over how beautiful Utah is sometimes. There may or may not have been a few "The hillsssss are alivvvvve" moments when doing this as well :) hahaha

32 Weeks Pregnancy Update - Lindsay Olsen Photography

Lindsay Olsen is a Newborn and Baby Photographer here in Utah, and while that is her main focus, she indulged me in some maternity pictures. Oh my goodness where do I even start? I love these! When you are this far along in your pregnancy it can be hard to feel like you look your best, but I think Lindsay captured the beauty of pregnancy in these photos and I will cherish them for years to come. The softness and natural element these photos have suit a maternity session perfectly, and Lindsay made me so comfortable. I can't wait to work with her again when our little girl arrives! And, as per usual, a gazillion photos after the jump...

How big is baby: Baby girl is as big as a squash, or a head of lettuce! Can you believe that? Around 19 inches long and almost 4 pounds.

I forgot to mention something exciting that happened back in week 30, Trevor got to see baby girl move! He has yet to feel her, BOO, but he saw her moving one time when we were trying to get him to feel her. It was pretty cool and it is so fun that you can see her jabs through my stomach every now and then if I am laying down. I love it! Speaking of movement, like I mentioned last week, her movements are so much more intense now. I could tell that something definitely had changed and after my appointment this week I learned that she has indeed turned head down. I had a feeling she had, so it is fun knowing exactly where she is and what I am feeling or seeing. For example, sometimes she goes completely to one side of my belly and I look super lopsided, it is hilarious. My doctor told me when I see the lump that appears, it is her bum! How cute is that? Okay maybe other people wouldn't think that is cute but to me it is utterly adorable.

It was getting a little surreal as the doctor started asking me a lot more about how I plan to give birth, and questions about nearing the end of this pregnancy. Before we know it, she will be here! 7 weeks and 4 days to be exact. I would love if she came a little earlier than that, but seeing that the women in my family tend to go late I am not getting my hopes up! haha I have been feeling pretty good, considering there is a pretty intense heat wave right now in Utah. It has been in the 100's the past few weeks and I am dying! Being pregnant in the middle of the summer is already one thing but add this heat and I am over it, haha. Besides that the only thing bothering me lately is the usual, swollen feet, painful swollen hands, and while I don't have heart burn that bad typically, I have noticed an increased need for tums in the middle of the night. I really think my list of pregnancy complaints is pretty small compared to what I hear other women talk about so I am considering myself lucky! We have so much to do this month to prepare for the baby so I don't want to rush time, but August just can't come soon enough!

I'M LOVING: ASOS MATERNITY DRESSES

You may have seen me post about THIS dress a few times now. As evidenced here and here. I have already expressed my love for it, as well as my love for ASOS in general. ASOS has always been one of my favorite places to shop because they have such unique pieces and often more modest. ASOS also happens to have a killer Maternity section. I remember once falling in love with a dress on ASOS but it was a maternity dress... I seriously contemplated just getting it anyways! haha Since I am pregnant for the whole summer, dresses have been my saving grace! And ASOS has SO many cute maternity dresses, I seriously want ALL OF IT! If only money wasn't a thing we had to deal with in life right? Anyways, check out some of my maternity dress picks and if you're pregnant make sure to take a look at their entire line of Maternity Clothing because it is one of the best out there!

28 Weeks Pregnancy Update

DRESS: C/O TARGET // BRACELETS // WATCH: C/O DANIEL WELLINGTON // HAT: ARDEN

You are all probably sick of seeing bump pictures after last week, but I still had to share my update for week 28, Sorry! This blog was in fact started as a journal to document my life, so document I must do :) I keep getting behind on these so you will probably see a double post this week of updates so I can catch up.

How far along: I am 28 weeks (in this picture!) haha

How big is baby: The baby is as big as an eggplant!

Sleep: Remember how I was just saying sleep was going alright? Well we can just scratch that. My poor hips just hurt all the time, and my feet, and I am soooo over it. I got a bunch of suggestions on facebook last week for body pillows, I am finally giving in and will be getting one! I probably shouldn't have waited so long! haha I am stubborn like that.

Craving: I have never been a big lover of just basic meat and veggie sandwiches, but for the last few months I have been really enjoying them and dare I say, craving them! Lately I have been wanting Subway and Jimmy Johns. This was probably more due to the fact that my body wanted a break from the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches I was having daily, haha. But really, I hope this new acquired taste lasts because I would love to maintain eating healthier sandwiches even after this pregnancy!

Random: I had to take the infamous glucose test, which by the way, was not nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Kind of tasted like orange soda, meets Gatorade, meets tang. The worst part was just having to drink it in under 8 minutes on the spot. I was also annoyed I had to just sit there for an hour. I work right down the street and was hoping they would let me go back for a bit, but alas, I had to just sit there in the waiting area for an hour. If I had been thinking ahead I would have brought a book. Let me remind you I HATE needles. I have a phobia of them, which has honestly gotten better since getting pregnant and needing to get my blood drawn so much. So I go in there and I am talking to the lady about the drink, and how it wasn't that bad, yadda, yadda, prick, prick, anyways. Done. Phew. So were talking and I mention the test again and she goes, "Oh wait, Glucose!" I used the wrong tube! She took my blood in the wrong vile, I guess you need to have a specific kind for this test that has a powder inside already to mix with. Anyways, she proceeds to prick my same exact vein, which by the way, WAY HURTS the second time around. I was NOT happy! Then I make a sarcastic joke about how it is a good thing we caught that or I would have not only needed to come back and get pricked again, but take the drink and wait another hour! She then made some joke about needing to print off another label for the tube with my name on it so she doesn't lose it..... I didn't laugh. And I swear if I have to go back and do this all again because this woman lost my blood, head will roll! haha I laugh but I am half joking.

Feeling: Sore! My feet are always killing me. I have ran two half marathons and a full marathon, and the soreness I am feeling I would associate to how my feet felt after those races. Compression socks have been my only little glimmer of hope, but while they do a lot of the swelling they only help so much for the pain. I guess I just must have really poor circulation because they are numb when I get up in the morning and just sore when I walk on them in general. Even when I am sitting at work at my desk all day, when I get home you would have thought I had been on them ALL DAY. It is by far my biggest complaint about pregnancy so far. BUT I know how lucky I am to have all these aches and pains and the ability to carry this sweet girl, and so I will take it in stride!

Dear Baby Girl,

I am officially in the third trimester and I can't believe how fast the time is going by! Less than 11 weeks to go! Which sounds like forever and like nothing at the same time. You Father and I have been feeling the pressure trying to get everything in order for your arrival. I am feeling you move a little more, and am crossing my fingers your Daddy, who has been very patient, can feel you sometime soon! Dang anterior placenta! haha Anyways, I am about to get started on your Nursery and I am so excited to make a space just for you. Speaking of spaces, your Dad and I bought a new couch and it has an obnoxiously large ottoman. We have dubbed it the Baby's Island, because we decided how cute you would look just chillin' in the center of it, your own island of leather haha We just can't wait for you to get here already!

XO, Mom

Target and The Bump - Look Five

TOP: C/O TARGET // PANTS: C/O TARGET // NECKLACE (SIMILAR) // WALLETT (SIMILAR) // BRACELETS // WATCH: C/O DW // EARRINGS // SHOES

Today is the final day for my maternity campaign with Target and The Bump! It has been awhile since I posted so much in one week, haha, but it has been a lot of fun! Check out looks, one, two, three, and four, if you missed them ;)

I will keep you posted on how you can vote for your favorite bloggers! Voting will start this weekend!

In today's look, both the top and pants are from the Liz Lange Maternity collection. Let's start with this top, it is the perfect "feel good" pregnant girl top! It covers everything you want covered, and yet, makes you feel like you aren't wearing a tent because it has the fitted sleeves. This top just calls for an awesome statement necklace, so I paired it with this bright pink number and picked my shoes, wallet and lipstick to tie it all together. I wanted to make this look a little nicer, so I paired them with these white pants that are more of a jegging than a jean, and really polish off the overall look.

I talked all about my issue with pants this pregnancy in this look, and these also did not disappoint! I think I have found where I will be getting all my maternity pants from here on out. These slip on and have that stretch that feels comfortable on your growing belly and hips, but also makes you feel like you aren't just wearing leggings. They are a must have!

I love this top by Liz Lange! It is incredibly flattering, and you can tie it in the front or back. I have worn it multiple times, and let's be honest, a good chambray really goes with anything! I paired it with an all back ensemble creating a comfy yet put together look. With the hat, bag, and sandals, this is the perfect explore the city outfit!

Today is day three of the Target and The Bump Maternity Challenge featuring items from the Liz Lange Maternity Collection! Check out looks one, and two if you missed it ;)

While being pregnant in the spring and summertime, there is nothing easier than just being able to slip on a dress! The fabric of this dress is really the stand out, it is great quality and hugs your curves just right without feeling "tight." It is so soft and comfortable! It comes in a variety of colors and patterns so you can find something that suits you and your wardrobe.

The beauty of a dress like this is that it is buildable, there really is so much you can do with it. I opted to keep it simple and let my red lips and red purse be the color that pops against the navy blue stripe! Throw on a pair of comfortable white slip on tennis shoes and you are all set to go. If you want to have a little more fun with it, accessorize with a scarf!

And if you really want to have some fun with it, add some retro shades and throw in a head scarf! ;) So many different directions you could take this dress!

The talented Brit Jacox, of Brit Nicole Photos, helped me out big time with this project! I love her bright, clean, esthetic and can't wait to share her work with you all week long. If you are looking for a photographer you should check her out, not only is she talented but she a blast to work with!

Today is day two of the Target and The Bump Maternity Challenge featuring items from the Liz Lange Maternity Collection! Check out Look One if you missed it ;)

This look was actually what I ended up wearing to my baby shower in San Diego. I wanted something comfortable but a little nicer than your every day look. The Liz Lange item in this look are these adorable jeans! I am actually shocked I ended up wearing jeans to my shower, and here is why. I swore off wearing jeans for most of this pregnancy! I had ordered three different brands of maternity jeans and none of them were working. I felt like a sausage trying to squeeze into a casing and they all drove me crazy once on. I kept going back to leggings over and over again and returned all the maternity jeans I had bought convinced I just wasn't going to wear them when pregnant because they all sucked. Dramatic much? haha I am pregnant, what can I say? When I was looking for pieces for this campaign I reluctantly tried on some of the jeans in Lange's collection, convinced I wouldn't like them just like all the other maternity jeans I had tried. To my surprise they slipped on with ease, no struggling to wedge myself into them! They also were super soft and comfortable, and I didn't feel like I was wearing stiff pants. There is nothing I love more than the jeans and a t-shirt look, so I was thrilled to finally find a pair of maternity jeans that I loved. A match made in heaven with these you guys!

So when it came to wearing a dress or my jeans for my shower, I went for the jeans! I dressed them up with this tunic top, a statement necklace, and some platform heels! I felt put together without being over the top, and I was comfortable. Win, win. I love the ripped detailing in them, and the wash of the jean. You really can dress them up or down to fit any occasion you have going on. These will be well worn for the rest of my pregnancy since I literally went months without wearing jeans and I missed them! haha
