I like goals, and I really, really like lists. So I figured it was time to really give myself a push and make a list of 25 things to accomplish before I turn 25. I am already a few months behind, so I have to get these done in the next 10 months.
So here we go. This should be fun :)
2. Get in the best physical shape of my life (or post high school best body anyway, HA!)
3. Learn to play guitar, okay learn to play a song on the guitar. (I only have the best teacher there is)
5. Go on a spontaneous date weekend with Trevor.
8. Read the Book of Mormon all the way through.
9. Visit my Grandparent's in Nanaimo.
11. Learn more about photography, and how to really use my camera.
12. Make eating healthy into a lifestyle.
13. Organize (finally) and get rid of most of my closet.
14. Really make an effort to start saving money. (Even though it might not be a lot right now.)
15. Finally put together our wedding album, and an album from Trevor's mission.
17. Create a Mission Statement for my life that outlines my priorities and goals.
18. Learn how to professionally ice sugar cookies (random, I know)
19. Develop the habit of praying every morning and night.
21. Take the time to cook more, make a new recipe every month!
22. Read 5 new books. (Don't laugh, I know some people read that many in a month! I have made the bad habit of just reading blogs, and watching dumb reality t.v.)
24. Attend the Temple more.
This is SUCH a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI'm a few months late starting too... But, hopefully I can catch up!
Thanks for the inspiration, girl!
I love the "learn to professionally ice cookies"! that would so be on my list. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome goals! I want to make my own list! Thanks for the inspiration!! :)

I love lists, too! And I love part about running a half marathon. I think I'll join you in that one!
ReplyDeleteYour going to have a very busy 10 months! I loove lists also, so I think I'm going to steal this idea : )
ReplyDeletegreat list! i think you should add some colored clip-in extensions (like pink) to your hair! :) because then you can take it out when you are sick of it, and didn't do anything to mess up your hair. i speak from experience, trying to get back to normal after doing something drastic is not fun!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, lots of goals for just a few months! lol Totally get the urge, though - I just started a summer goal list. :)

I need to do this but I am way past 25 so I will have to do 25 before 35. ;)
ReplyDeleteWay to go! I love that your mixed in spiritual goals with temporal and physical ones. My husband and I just sat down and did this last week to make sure we are on track with all areas of our life. I am with you on the camera one. I have a nice camera that I don't know how to use...at all. ha
ReplyDeleteI did a list like this a few days ago! I love list like this! Keep us updated about what you've done!
ReplyDeleteYay so fun!! I made a list last August when I turned 24. I've only got like 3 months left but I have at least half of the goals left!! Here's my list :) http://blahblahberrett.blogspot.com/p/25-before-25.html Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I think you'd look awesome as a brunette because of your light skin & bright blue eyes. =) That would definitely be something drastic!
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself that I want to get in the best shape ever this next year because I have a feeling an engagement & wedding are just around the corner & I want to look awesome for that. It's so much easier said than done, I am the queen of excuses!
This is a great To-Do List! Much more fun than 'get groceries, pay the bills, do my laundry'. I especially love the professionally-iced-sugar-cookies goal. Can't wait to see more of that. ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree with doing something drastic to your hair!! I just did :-) and chopped it. I love it.

ReplyDeleteI'm working on one of these 25 before 25 projects too! I love some of your ideas :) Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHey, Kacey's in San Francisco! I'll meet ya there and we have a PAC reunion?
ReplyDeleteI just sent my husband a text that said "let's make a 30 before 30 list tonight. so things we want to do before you turn 30 in 3 years." Such a great idea! I love lists so this is right up my alley!

When you get around to #13 and clean out your closet send all your adorable clothes my way ;)
ReplyDeleteReading blogs should practically count as books right?
ReplyDeleteDo you remember when we camped and did some hikes in Zion National Park? I like your list.
ReplyDeleteI do remember it, but more vaguely when it comes to the sites if that makes sense! I mostly just remember the came ground and Dad pretending to be a bear haha :)
DeleteSounds like you'll be busy, but it's mostly fun stuff, so that's great!
ReplyDeleteI love your list Alycia! This is so funny that you posted one because today is my half birthday and I have one to post as well! Great minds must think alike! Let's keep eachother on track! XO
ReplyDeleteLove it Alacia!!! :)
Deletethis is a wonderful list!
ReplyDeleteI'm already 25, but I should make a list as well :) . #19 (praying morning & night) and reading the Bible regularly are definitely something that I need to implement.

Well let's just be honest, for most of us if we looked like we did in high school it would be considered unhealthy at our age! haha :) At least I would be!
DeleteLovely list!

Not liking the lipstick color on you. I love the Book of Mormon! I've read it through dozens of times, but the first time I had to push myself past the first couple pages. I used to read (novel) books all the time until I got married back in 2000. I would like to get back to it.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great list! I want to make one now (: I just turned 24 last month so now is the perfect time, I have a year!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited about #18!! I LOVE making sugar cookies and have been working on getting better with my royal icing skills... it's hard, but SO fun to see what I can come up with (: You should check out The Sweet Adventures of Sugarbelle blog- that's where I get a lot of my tips & ideas from!!
You should rent things I want to do and work on :) And yes, I am excited to learn more about frosting cookies haha sounds dumb but I am!!! I will have to check out her blog right now :) thanks for the suggestion!
DeleteI love this list! San Francisco is amazing :) I hope you accomplish all of your goals.
ReplyDeleteDang, girl! You are productive! I haven't even done a lot of these and I'm 26 now. But tomorrows a new day!

ReplyDeleteThat's a really cool list!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis year I'm going to try and make my 25 while 25 list =)))
Otherwise - no goals -> no resuls -> no satisfaction -> no happiness

Dr joy is a trust worthy spell caster and he will be of great help to you. I never believed in spell casting but After 4 years of marriage my husband left me because I lost my womb, and i was unable to give birth to children. I felt like my life has come to an end, and i almost committed suicide, i was emotionally down for a very long time, but thanks to this spell caster called Dr joy whom i met online after my friend Becky Ross told me how he also helped her to bring back her husband in less than 2 days. I believed her and decided to give Dr joy a try and i contacted him on his email joylovespell@gmail.com. and explained my problems to him. He laughed and told me that In less than 2 days, my Husband will come back to me again, and that he will restore my womb and i will give birth to children. At first i thought it was a joke but i took courage and believed as Dr joy has said and it did happen just as this Great spell caster said, My husband called me and was crying, begging for forgiveness. I forgive him and today i am so glad that all worries and problems has gone away, and we are even happier than before, another good news is that i am pregnant now, and very soon we will have our baby. Dr joy is really a gifted and a powerful spiritual man and i will not stop publishing him because he is a wonderful man. I advice you all If you have a problem and you are looking for a real and genuine spell caster to solve all your problems just Contact Dr joy on his email on joylovespell@gmail.com. because he will always help you to solve all problems. Once again thank you Dr joy. Thank you, thank you.
