Target Baby Sale

Target is having a massive baby sale right now, and honestly, it couldn't have come at a better time for our family. Before having a baby you try and think of everything you will need to prepare for your little one. Then they finally arrive and you realize you need this, or that, and you really start to get an idea of what your baby's specific needs are. I have already made so many little trips to Target or purchased something online that I needed more of, or hadn't thought I needed that we did end up needing! Whether you are preparing for a baby, looking for the perfect gift for someone expecting a baby, or are like me and are in need of those afterthought items, Target has a huge selection of baby items that will fit all of your needs. With this big sale now is the time to shop!

Trevor and I have been needing a pack n' play for Ella and with such great discounts, now was the time to buy! The sale started yesterday and runs though this Saturday, and when you spend $125 you get a $20 Target gift card. So basically with my pack n' play almost costing that much, if I pick up a few more item I can easily earn back $20! I love a good deal :)

Check out the sale details below as well as a list I put together of all the different baby items I got from Target that I LOVE.

Baby Sale runs Sunday, Oct. 18 and lasts through Saturday, Oct. 24

Delta Children Ava 3-in-1 Crib // This is the crib we got for Ella and I LOVE it. Such clean modern lines and I love it in white. It also comes in a great two tone option!

Lansinoh® HPA® Lanolin // All the breastfeeding mams are going to want to stock up on this stuff, it has been a lifesaver over the last month!

Boudreaux's Paste Diaper Rash Ointment // I haven't had to use this too much with Ella just yet, but I think that is a good thing. The second I used it her little rash cleared up! It has a nice texture too.

Keekaroo Peanut Changer Changing Pad // Okay folks, this may seem pricey for a changing pad but it has to be my most favorite of all the things I spent money on in regards to preparing for a baby. It is firm, yet soft, you kind of have to feel to understand what I am talking about... and the best part, totally waterproof. I always see fabric covered baby changers and it boggles my mind. Any mess can be quickly cleaned up, and because of the material it is made of it doesn't really get cold so I don't feel like I need anything else. It also feels really safe to have her one because the edges curve up. I am obsessed with it!

Medela 3pk 5oz Breastmilk Bottle Set // I love these bottles!

Ergo Four Position 360 Baby Carrier // Haven't been able to use this one just yet but my sister and a lot of my friends SWEAR by it. Can't wait to take Ella on hikes with this!

Philips Avent Soothie // These are Ella's favorites. She won't take anything else! I love that they are all one material, it just makes it really simple to wash by hand.

Summer Infant® SwaddleMe® Swaddles // Ella loves a good swaddle, however she actually prefers to have her hands out of the swaddle, which kind of defeats the purpose but the way we do it works for us! haha But my sister in law and so many of my friends swear by these swaddles! I love that they take the guess work out of it and makes the swaddle super easy!

Puj Tub // This tub is the coolest. Not only does the shape of it make for super easy storage, but it even has a magnet on it for those of you in apartments that are really lacking storage spots. I love how easy it is to fold it up and put in the sink. It is quick, easy, and soft on the sweet little baby skin. I really like the overflow feature too so you can never put in too much water!

Newborn Girls' 4-Piece Burp Cloth Set // You can NEVER have enough burp cloths. Oh man... you hear this but you really don't get it" until you have your own baby! Target has the cutest burp cloths! Stock up!!!

Graco Pack 'n Play Playard On The Go // This is the pack n' play we have decided to go with! It has a bassinet feature so while Ella is still so new we can have easier access to her!

Target and The Bump - Look Five

Today is the final day for my maternity campaign with Target and The Bump! It has been awhile since I posted so much in one week, haha, but it has been a lot of fun! Check out looks, one, two, three, and four, if you missed them ;)

I will keep you posted on how you can vote for your favorite bloggers! Voting will start this weekend!

In today's look, both the top and pants are from the Liz Lange Maternity collection. Let's start with this top, it is the perfect "feel good" pregnant girl top! It covers everything you want covered, and yet, makes you feel like you aren't wearing a tent because it has the fitted sleeves. This top just calls for an awesome statement necklace, so I paired it with this bright pink number and picked my shoes, wallet and lipstick to tie it all together. I wanted to make this look a little nicer, so I paired them with these white pants that are more of a jegging than a jean, and really polish off the overall look.

I talked all about my issue with pants this pregnancy in this look, and these also did not disappoint! I think I have found where I will be getting all my maternity pants from here on out. These slip on and have that stretch that feels comfortable on your growing belly and hips, but also makes you feel like you aren't just wearing leggings. They are a must have!

Look four is one of my favorites from this week's challenge with Target and The Bump Maternity Check out looks one, two, and three if you missed it ;)

I love this top by Liz Lange! It is incredibly flattering, and you can tie it in the front or back. I have worn it multiple times, and let's be honest, a good chambray really goes with anything! I paired it with an all back ensemble creating a comfy yet put together look. With the hat, bag, and sandals, this is the perfect explore the city outfit!

Today is day three of the Target and The Bump Maternity Challenge featuring items from the Liz Lange Maternity Collection! Check out looks one, and two if you missed it ;)

While being pregnant in the spring and summertime, there is nothing easier than just being able to slip on a dress! The fabric of this dress is really the stand out, it is great quality and hugs your curves just right without feeling "tight." It is so soft and comfortable! It comes in a variety of colors and patterns so you can find something that suits you and your wardrobe.

The beauty of a dress like this is that it is buildable, there really is so much you can do with it. I opted to keep it simple and let my red lips and red purse be the color that pops against the navy blue stripe! Throw on a pair of comfortable white slip on tennis shoes and you are all set to go. If you want to have a little more fun with it, accessorize with a scarf!

And if you really want to have some fun with it, add some retro shades and throw in a head scarf! ;) So many different directions you could take this dress!

The talented Brit Jacox, of Brit Nicole Photos, helped me out big time with this project! I love her bright, clean, esthetic and can't wait to share her work with you all week long. If you are looking for a photographer you should check her out, not only is she talented but she a blast to work with!

This look was actually what I ended up wearing to my baby shower in San Diego. I wanted something comfortable but a little nicer than your every day look. The Liz Lange item in this look are these adorable jeans! I am actually shocked I ended up wearing jeans to my shower, and here is why. I swore off wearing jeans for most of this pregnancy! I had ordered three different brands of maternity jeans and none of them were working. I felt like a sausage trying to squeeze into a casing and they all drove me crazy once on. I kept going back to leggings over and over again and returned all the maternity jeans I had bought convinced I just wasn't going to wear them when pregnant because they all sucked. Dramatic much? haha I am pregnant, what can I say? When I was looking for pieces for this campaign I reluctantly tried on some of the jeans in Lange's collection, convinced I wouldn't like them just like all the other maternity jeans I had tried. To my surprise they slipped on with ease, no struggling to wedge myself into them! They also were super soft and comfortable, and I didn't feel like I was wearing stiff pants. There is nothing I love more than the jeans and a t-shirt look, so I was thrilled to finally find a pair of maternity jeans that I loved. A match made in heaven with these you guys!

So when it came to wearing a dress or my jeans for my shower, I went for the jeans! I dressed them up with this tunic top, a statement necklace, and some platform heels! I felt put together without being over the top, and I was comfortable. Win, win. I love the ripped detailing in them, and the wash of the jean. You really can dress them up or down to fit any occasion you have going on. These will be well worn for the rest of my pregnancy since I literally went months without wearing jeans and I missed them! haha

Target and The Bump - Look One

DRESS: C/O LIZ LANGE // GINGHAM TOP (SIMILAR) // WATCH // BRACELETS // BELT (SIMILAR) // SHOES: TARGET //  // EARRINGS

It is going to be an exciting week here on the blog! I have teamed up with Target and The Bump to present five different maternity looks featuring items from the Liz Lange Maternity Collection. This was such a fun project to work on because, let's face it, learning how to dress your bump can be such a challenge! You have a whole new body type when your pregnant, and it can be difficult knowing what will work for your new curves. I have put together five looks that I find to be functional, comfortable, and cute (of course) ;) Let me know what you think and at the end of the week I will ask you to vote on your favorite one!

So let's talk about this dress! First off it is so extremely COMFORTABLE. The fabric just hangs on the body in the most flattering way, and it has a little bounce. It also is made with a really breathable fabric. Breathable fabric is a huge deal when you are pregnant! It has a versatile tie that you could wrap up to the front, or the back, depending on the look you are going for. If it is hot out, it is also a tank top style dress so you can easily cool off. If it is warmer you can add a cardigan without getting too hot under because it doesn't have sleeves. I love that about this dress! I paired it with this blue gingham top, and to emphasize my waist used a skinny belt to pull it all together. I picked a gold glittery one to match the gold strap on a pair of my favorite sandals. The possibilities are really endless with this dress, which is why I chose it! It has already become a staple in my pregnancy wardrobe and know I will use it a ton this summer.
