WOW...is this for real? Not one item of mine from Forever 21? haha
p.s. just a side note... this was obviously taken before the hand tragedy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am doing a new spin on my Life Should Be a Party posts, by addressing life's crazy, funny, and celebratory things, in little notes :)

Dear Self,
Stop thinking that you must have forgotten to do an assignment, you graduated in May and even though it feels weird to not be in school because it is Fall... you are DONE!

Dear Pringles Can,
How come I can eat you so quickly and not even feel full? Dang you magical can. The fun DOES stop once you pop by the way.

Dear BYU students,
Please learn how to walk and follow traffic rules while driving. You will die if you run red lights on your scooter in an intersection without a helmet, and you will die if you cross the busy street without looking!!!

Dear Life,
Thanks for always coming through for me! I finally found that second job I needed and ended up with the most ideal situation. Now I don't have to get a restaurant job where I work nights and weekends and would have ended up with NO time with Trevor. YAY!

Dear Life,
You know how I thanked you earlier for always coming through for me?! Well no thanks for the glass slicing my hand wide open this weekend. that was not so fun.

Dear Grandpa,
Thanks for the funny texts to try and lift my spirits!

Dear Hand,
I am amazed at how the slightest movements make my hand ache. The human body is amazing and you never really understand just how many little muscles make up everything you do until you injure yourself.

Dear Readers,
Thanks for all the nice comments, I am feeling much better. Still a left handed person stuck in a right person's body... but much better, thanks!

  13. I heart your glasses in a serious way.

Back when I was at the BYU (whoa, I sound 80), I used to fear for my life whenever I'd have to walk anywhere on campus. There are some crazy drivers in P-town.

  16. Dear Middle-Schoolers,

Thanks for sometimes misreading the story we're reading and shouting out, "Hey Mr. Blueberry!" in class today. (It was supposed to be, "Hey, my blueberry...". Maybe you had to be there, but now I can't stoop thinking about someone named Mr. Blueberry.

  18. This is such a cute post! You are adorable! I love those glasses, btw. Whenever I wear them for pictures, my hubs makes some sassy comment about them. Apparently, there not his favorite on me, but I'll continue to wear them anyway [because I'm stubborn like that]! They look SUPER cute on you!

  23. I love your little notes. Especially about the people walking around BYU- It's the same here at ASU. I had to help a guy who go clipped by a bike and broke his ankle because the biker ran a red light! crazy!

  25. Ohhhh, I know what you mean about the "left handed person stuck in a right person's body" thing. I broke my right wrist in high school and had to learn to do things left handed. A lot of assignments were typed up during that time...

Hope it gets to feeling better!

  26. I am so sorry to hear about your hand accident! That would be so scary! I am impressed that your first reaction was how cool your muscle looked... I think I would just be in histarics at the sight of blood!

I hope it heals quickly for you! And also, congrats on finding your second job, thats awesome!

  32. You're hilarious. First, love that your grandpa texts. Mine's still emailing me messages in the subject line. Two, I bet my sister is one of the scaries on a scooter running the red lights. Don't hit her. Three, it's true, Pringles suck because their good but they're so so bad. Last, I DREAM constantly of classes and assignments that I "forgot" to do, and have panic attacks in my sleep. School ruined me.

  35. You're so cute. Your dress is to die for!

My celebratory things as of late include showering and doing laundry. Pretty exciting stuff when you have two little munchkins to chase after. :)

And I ALWAYS dream that I am late for school or have missed the bus or forgot an assignment. I wake up in a cold sweat!

  42. I am done with school too and though I am not having panic attacks about forgetting an assignment I must say that every time somebody complains about school on fb I just think "That's not me anymore!!!" Definitely something worth celebrating!

And I totally know what you mean about not realizing how many little muscles and other body parts we have and how much we use them. I broke my middle toe my senior year of high school and I couldn't believe how important that toe had been before then! I couldn't walk normal, balancing was 2x harder. Makes you grateful for your health right?
