Do you guys remember my Macaron Cooking Class Giveaway with Mercedes?! Well I invited two bloggers (Mandy and Savannah) over to my apartment to have a cooking class from the VERY talented Merceds. This was seriously one of the coolest things I have ever done, and I think that you all need to look into having her come over and teach you guys!
These green ones were my all time favorite... ¬ just because they matched my nail polish ;)
I learned that you are supposed to keep them refrigerated for a couple days for them to taste their best.... do you know how hard it was to resist eating them? It was SO worth it though! Perfect I tell you. Perfection. Mercedes has nailed these!
She is such a good teacher and you walk away with your own box of cookies and a mix to try it yourself at home. I think we made pretty good students, even though we talked alot, haha sorry Mercedes!
The Macarons turned out DIVINE. I didn't want to share much with Trevor... they were just SO good. I would love to do a class like this again with my sisters or something :) So fun! Check her site out for the mixes she sells, and more info on her classes Merceds White French Macarons.
Those look freakin amazing.

holy deliciousness! I need these!
ReplyDeleteHi there! Not sure if we're supposed to comment on your blog or The Vintage Apple's for the giveaway, so I"m doing both. :)
ReplyDeleteFirst, in answer to your question: I'm a huge nerd, so my idea of fun when I'm alone is reading a good book or playing The Sims 3 and my many expansion packs. Haha. When I'm with friends, I like to do something casual like grab frozen yogurt or coffee and sit on a nice patio somewhere to chat.
Also, these macaroons look amazing. I can't believe you MADE these. So cool. And I'm very intrigued by the Sopapilla Cheesecake link-within at the bottom ... headed there now ...
Happy Hump Day!
Oh what fun!! I want to make these. I don't think I would be able to resist them in the fridge either, and I'm sure they wouldn't last in their.
