 Top: Forever21 Jeans: Silver Shoes: Nine West  Hair Feather

I might look like a bumble bee in this outfit (do you know how hard it is for me not to type bumbo bee -- go here if you want to know why) but I couldn't help but pull out these bright yellow pants of mine since spring seems to have arrived here in Utah!

I love this top. I wear it all the time. It is nice to have something comfy to wear when you are wearing high heels :) I like to balance it out. I love this top because of its relaxed fit, even though Trevor doesn't like it. He calls it my "flying squirrel top" because the sleeves are not defined and are connected to the whole of the shirt, haha. Just like a flying squirrel apparently.

And since when do we not wear something we think is cute because our husbands don't like it? Or do any of you let your husband's opinions dictate what you wear? haha I guess the truth lies somewhere in between! We all remember what Trevor thought of my high waisted jeans I got last year.

    I think its important to let them have a LITTLE opinion. Lets face it though, they can be pretty clueless when it comes to fashion and style. :) I happen to think your flying squirrel top is adorable.

    My husband has funny names for a lot of my clothes too. I have a long chunky striped sweater, he refers to as "the tube sock sweater." I always tell him, "you don't have to UNDERSTAND my outfits, you just have to APPRECIATE then." :)

    I have a netted sweater that my husband calls the cheese grater and every time without fail that I wear tall boots he says "I didn't know we were going horse back riding today" it never ceases to be funny to him but I keep wearing them :)

    Good for you for wearing something your husband doesn't love! I'm bad about that...my husband has very specific tastes and is opinionated about what looks good and what doesn't. And it's not that he has BAD style, but he doesn't like trendy things, and he makes fun of the trends as they come and go. The result? I never wear trendy things! haha! I try to sometimes, but since I know he doesn't like them, I never really feel comfortable and confident in it. I could never wear colored skinny jeans b/c of his opinion that they look ridiculous. haha! But I think you look great! :)

    My husband totally has opinions on what I wear! He really hates Ugg boots, and doesn't care for skinny jeans and flats (which is ironically my daily uniform). The good thing is - he won't give me his opinions unless I ask! Haha.
