  3. ALSO! My favorite Valentine's Day tradition is making my grandma's famous sugar cookies and cutting them into hearts and decorating! ...I'm pretty much the worst decorator in my family.... but it's the best. :)

  4. My favorite valentine's tradition is one I started just yesterday and want to do for the rest of time. We had a ladies brunch here with the girls from my YSA branch. (www.lauraohearon.blogspot.com) I think even when I am married someday, I will continue the idea of Valentine's brunch. It was super fun to decorate for!

  7. My favorite Valentine's tradition is one we started last year. My husband booked a hotel for one night.We stayed in a beach town only like, 45 minutes away from home. It was really fun to take a mini vacation and celebrate being together.

  13. I don't really have any Valentine's Day traditions... But here in Sweden we always eat Jelly Hearts (?) - I guess instead of Conversation Hearts, which we don't have. They are delicious.

    1. celebrating the anniversary of my husband proposing to me on Valentine's Day
    2. celebrating my favorite state Arizona's birthday and day of statehood by making a cake with Arizona flag colors and blowing out a candle :)

  52. My favorite Valentine's Day was when I was in the 4th grade. I was the only little girl in the whole class that had flowers delievered to her by my first love, my father! Every dad should be the first one to send their daughter flowers!

Growing up my family and I always used to go to a Chinese restaurant where the food is prepared on your table. So delicious!! Now that I live so far away I don't get to go, but it's still my favorite :)

  69. My hubby and I did something this year for Valentine's Day that I'd like to continue: we drove up in the mountains, laid back the seats in my husband's explorer and cuddled up with a bunch of blankets and sleeping bags and watched a sappy movie on a laptop. LOVED it!
