April showers bring May flow-- SNOW!

Can I just say... what is up with Utah? I mean it is APRIL! It has been snowing randomly off on the past week or so... but last night it just down poured. I mean everyone is talking about SPRING, sunny places, seeing green and flowers and here it is cold, gloomy, rain, windy, and SNOW. My little brother came over to say Hi. I opend the door and couldn't believe it was still snowing and was sticking... inches! AH Alex did some jumps and played in it for a bit. I was crazy and actually stepped out in in without shoes on.... sometimes I forget how cold it gets. I always think, oh it will be cold for a bit and I will be fine. I really am from San Diego... I never wear enough, I never learn! Anyways... I am just ready for some real SUN Utah! Seeing as me and Trevor both come from sunny warm places... we both do NOT want to settle down where it snows. I just want to be able to walk outside bare-foot all year round, and Trevor wants to wear his cut off shorts all year round (even though the rest of us want to burn them.)

(My left foot looks really creepy for some reason in this... in case you were wondering that is my big left toe sticking out. The left part of the foot is covered in snow not the right side of the foot. weird. I had to look twice as well, haha. creepy.)

On a lighter note... Because it has been such nasty weather me and Trevor snuggled up in our heated apartment and watched conference while munching cinnamon rolls, and orange rolls on Easter morning. Doesn't get much better then that. Except one sucky thing about being an "adult".... there is no one around to "hide" an Easter basket for you, or eggs? Lame. Me and Trevor kept hoping somehow the Easter bunny would show up and just do that for us like he use to when were kids.... Lame.

(please excuse the disheveled lazy appearance, kthanx)

By the end of Easter day I was so bored which resulted in me being hyper... Trevor was doing some homework and I had nothing to do. So of course I took pictures like this and sent them on my phone to my friends and family saying "ORANGE YOU HAPPY TODAY IS EASTER?!"
Oh and in case you ever wondered... it is hard to kiss with an orange slice in your mouth. We tried.

  3. See if we had been able to come up it would have been yucky weather again like it was last year. Sorry to hear that it has not been nice. Alex looks like he was having fun :) I bet it is hard to kiss with an orange slice in your mouth. I'm not surprised you tried it. I hope the snow melts soon. Wait till you have kids and then Easter will be fun again when you are hiding the eggs for them. We had fun watching Sydney & Afton hunt for eggs this Easter. Sarah & Grandpa helped Sydney.

  5. Your left foot really did look creepy. I'm glad you explained the picture because I was trying to figure out how the right side of your foot had turned all white. You haven't changed much over the years have you? All you needed was two carrots on your nostrils.
