50 years.

A couple weeks ago Trevor's family got together to celebrate his grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. It was just immediate family, and such a beautiful evening.

I can only imagine the amount of growth a couple goes through when sharing an entire life together.

It must be a very tender moment, to look around and see a group of people... a group of families that you and your loved one created. To see them talking, laughing, sharing with each other in celebration of your life, and your family. To know you started something that will continue on even after you are gone. Family is everything.

Oh and yes... Trevor and I do like to have awkward hugs. This one is a particular favorite, haha. Despite what it looks like, it is actually super comfortable :)

Merry Christmas!

Okay so it isn't Christmas today... but it is close enough right? I mean, no offense, but I will not be blogging on Christmas day. Sorry folks, I will be soaking up whatever rays are left down in San Diego :) as well as enjoying being with my big, loud, crazy, fun, never boring family!

I hope you will all be doing the same! So here is to a great holiday weekend :) See you all in blogland later, after we have gained a few more pounds, a few more wrinkles from smiling, and have been rejuvenated with the holiday spirit!

Remember our Christmas card from 2010? We went very simple.... this year I jazzed it up a bit!
Here is our Christmas Card for 2011 :)
*The quality isn't as great because of the scanner I used, but you get the gist!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! CHEERS! :)

CROW-LEE

So I am getting a little annoyed. Ever since I got married people always say my new last name wrong. Trevor said to get use to it, that most people do. But it just bugs me, &I feel like I am being petty or rude if I ever corrected them, so now there a bunch of people out there at church etc. who really just keep on saying it wrong. So I thought I would make it simple. CROW (Like the bird) LEE,
Crowley. We get it? Good.
Now speaking of Birds. Have you all seen that movie Failure to Launch? With Jessica Sarah Parker and Zooey Deschanel? You know throughout the whole movie how Zooey has to deal with this mocking bird that is living outside their apartment window and WONT shut up? &later in the movie she goes and buys a gun &shoots the mocking bird... WELL Someone better stop me from getting Trevor's shot gun! There is a Woodpecker that has decided to come by our window and peck away on this wood post oh just every morning around 7:30 (before I wake up) TO WAKE ME UP! For at least an hour...seriously. It isn't some cute bird sound with chirping or anything.... it is the loudest pecking sound! Ahhhhhh...
Speaking of waking me up... we can hear everything from our neighbors. The neighbors above us and the one next to us. See we live in this huge old mansion house that has been divided up into 5 apartments. So we share walls with three other people. One guy is really quiet lives on his own. There are bunch of college boys above us who we always hear because their stairs are right above where our bedroom is... lovely. But the worst is this other lady.... she is a piano and voice teacher and her piano shares a wall with our bedroom wall (NOT FUN WHEN TRYING TO TAKE NAPS! esp. when the piano player or singer... well sucks.) Besides hearing her late night date nights when guys come over at, oh just 1 in the morning, the other night me and Trevor get into bed and all of sudden we both go... "What is that? Is that snoring?" Yes. The lady had some dude spend the night and he was snoring, and we could hear him! IT WAS SO LOUD! I couldn't believe we could actually hear it through the wall into our room. AH I want out of this apartment.
Sorry for the complaining... but all this noise is driving me crazy. I am loosing sleep... which is probably why when I got back my Advanced American National Government Midterm paper I saw I wrote Jim Choo instead of John Yoo... WOW. Either I was sleep deprived or couldn't stop thinking about shoes, not really sure!
