The $22 Burger

On our way down to San Diego this Christmas Trevor had to stop in Vegas and get his fingerprints taken for his IRS internship he starts in January. After we decided to grab some lunch at the Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill in Vegas. While living and working in Vegas last summer, Trevor had the opportunity to try a lot of great food and restaurants. His favorite was Gordon Ramsay's burger, and he has been talking about it ever since.

All Trevor wanted for Christmas was this burger and for me to try it. Why would someone ask for something like a burger for Christmas? Well, when the burger is $22.00 then it becomes a treat and not your typical meal. I was totally up for it, I mean, I love all of Gordon Ramsay's shows and he obviously got there doing something right in the kitchen so I figured why wouldn't I?

Where do I even start with this burger? It was one of THE best meals I have ever had. Trevor loves himself a good burger, and to him, he found the ultimate one. The crème de la crème of burgers. The meat was thick and cooked to absolute perfection. Everything came together perfectly. Wood-grilled, pub burger sauce, oven-baked herb tomato, choice of welsh cheddar, blue or gruyere cheese, all on a rosemary brioche bun with the best bacon I have ever had = heavenly angels dancing on your taste buds!

If you are a burger fan, this has to be on your to try list! Also amazing? Probably the best fries I have ever had, with the most divine garlic aioli sauce. I have had my share of aioli sauces, and I don't know what this has in it that made it so different, so unique, and so above the rest, maybe crack? Either way, I have now decided it is my mission to figure out what!

  16. Oh man. That looks so good! My husband is totally a burger guy. He travels a lot for work and they're constantly going to nice restaurants... and he always chooses a burger if it's on the menu. It's cute how predictable he is. I'm thinking I will definitely have to take him here at some point!
