18 for 30?

YAY FOR FALL! Can I just say how super giddy I am that it hasn't really really snowed here in Utah yet? Coming from San Diego, it is the #1 thing I hate about Utah. I hate living in the snow. By some stroke of luck, it hasn't really started snowing. It isn't sticking. I don't mind, and just hope it can hold off until we go to San Diego for Christmas :) That would be an entire fall semester without SNOW! WOW.

On another note...

I usually don't quit things. I like to start what I finish. But can I just say I am so over the 30 for 30?! I am struggling. I had all the outfits picked out and just hadn't finished taking pictures of all of them. Do you know how hard it is to take pictures of yourself in clothes around a 9-5 job? Um. Yeah.

The second something becomes like a chore to me, I am over it. So I am sorry to announce that I have decided to end at 18 out of my 30. I think that was a good run, no? 18 outfits for you all. 18 outfits and maybe you could get some clothes like this with a Meijer Promotional code.  I am not taking one more picture in those same clothes haha.

It really was a great experiment, and I did learn to see my closet in a whole new light. Some items of clothing I hardly ever wore, I ended up wearing way more then I thought I would or even could! So it was really fun to do that.

But have no fear, I still love clothes and would like to keep up with a once a week fashion post. So just expect to see more of the other items in my closet then you did before, like today's post for example :)

    I tried to do a face of the day around my work schedule and decided after 1 day that it wasn't going to work out, so at least you lasted 18 :) I do love your boots too!

    I am in DC and we haven't had any snow yet either. It's cold enough but no snow. I'm from Southern California too. This is my first real fall and winter!

    we still have no snow here either, which is actually really strange, being that I live in wasaga beach, ON and snow is always a disaster. I can't complain, though it would be nice to have some for xmas!

    I love your new bangs. I heart bangs. Also, I love the colorful new layout! So pretty. And I think it's totally OK to quit something, especially when it becomes a chore. I quit something that I wasn't passionate about, and I felt really bad about it for a while...but then I decided that it was OK to follow my heart and do something I love instead. It's not totally related, but sorta :)

    Yay for non-sticking snow. I live in Washington (state) and unlike last year, there's barely been any lasting snow this year ... I am la-la-loving it! LOL.

    And 18 out of 30 is just as good. I mean, after all, you did see your closet in a new light ... so I wouldn't consider it giving up ... you learned something :b
