He obviously didn't suck as bad as he thought, since he got into all 7 of the law schools he applied to, as well as some scholarship offers! At one point we thought we were for sure going to the University of Utah, then to ASU, and the finally we decided BYU would be the better fit for us (as well as it being Trevor's top pick!)
I just want to say I AM SO PROUD OF YOU TREVOR!
&even though we wont be moving far, I am excited for this new adventure in our life. LOVE YOU.
So that rights people, we are going to BYU LAW SCHOOL!
AND don't think for one second that this means I am a BYU fan now. I will be a die hard UTES fan for LIFE! &if I ever have any BYU apparel, it will clearly say LAW on it and the BYU part can be in the tiny little hard to read letters, haha.

ReplyDeleteCongrats to the both of you! My Mr. just graduated law school so I know exactly what you guys are going through. :) Has Trevor heard the token law school phrase, "First year they scare you to death, second year they work you to death and the third year they bore you to death."? haha Although I've actually heard BYU's classes are a little easier than most. :) Good luck!

ReplyDeleteYay good for him!!! Omg I feel like we are on the exact same boat!! Only difference is Gian had the stress of a new born just a few weeks before the LSAT. Man it was rough, so I can totally relate to you, and this blog!
ReplyDeleteOh Alycia you are just too cute...and congrats to Trevor, that is way awesome!

ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to be living in Belgium when I hear your story...
We have 4 universities here. If you wanna go to Brussels, you can just go there. If you wanna go to Leuven, you just go to Leuven, no problem!
And the costs are minimal. In Leuven you pay about 500 euro (Not even 720 dollars!) for one year. On top of that you have to buy books but when I did a year of law school I spent about 400 euro (575 dollars) on that!
How wonderful! So glad you can brag on him for abit because it sounds like he deserves it!!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS! my husband is studying for the LSAT right now so it was fun reading your post!! BYU has and awesome law school!
ReplyDeleteOOh yeah!! so happy for you guys!! I'm studying law in Belgium and want to apply post-uni for entertainment law.. I'm already dreading the wait and the letters and just everything that comes with it! It was great to read this post and congrats for your hubby!!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS TREVOR!! That is fantastic! When I finished reading this post, I got chills. That is great news! Can't wait to read these upcoming adventures!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! I had to go look up BYU to see what it stood for and where it was. What a relief you won't have to move far, and so awesome that he was at the top of the waitlist!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Trevor again!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited you guys will still be living close!
The pool is calling our names Alycia... if it ever warms up :(
That sounds like a very stressful process. So glad it all worked out!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you and your husband! That's really exciting! I remember the stress of taking the GRE, applying to grad schools, and waiting to hear back. It's so worth it in the end, though! :)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! It would have been fun to have you down here at ASU, but I'm sure BYU will be great! Best of luck to you both!
