TEN THINGS.

Last week I was "tagged" in one of those fun little Instagram posts from Lauren from the previous Busy Bee Lauren. It was so much fun to read her "ten things" that I decided to participate in the tag. I love reading random little facts about people, and it was fun to see people totally relate on some of mine. I figured it was too fun not to share on my blog. So here you go... TEN THINGS about me. Consider yourself officially tagged as well. I would love to read about YOU.

1. I have all recessive genes with my dimples, straight pinkies, blue eyes, blonde hair, and hitch hiker thumbs!

2. I don't like mint flavored chocolate or food. It makes me feel like I am eating and swallowing toothpaste.

3. When I started college I ate Macaroni and Cheese for two weeks straight, and never got sick of it.
 4. I have never been pulled over for my driving or received a ticket.

5. I love pickles when they are whole and I can bite off of it, but I hate pickles when they are chopped up or sliced? Weird I know.

6. I hate board games and only play them when I feel I need to please big groups.

7. I have an incredibly deep belly button. When I was younger I would see how much I could stick in it. Three pens that would stay put was the most.

8. I HAVE to have peanut butter on my waffles and pancakes. I even ask at restaurants for some peanut butter when I order.

9. When I was little I fell off a wall and knocked my tooth right out.

10. When I was thirteen years old I was an exchange student in Japan. I bathed in a Japanese bath house. There was a bunch of older woman I didn't know. At the time it was incredibly scary for me to get naked and bath with strangers, but it ended up being incredibly liberating.

ALSO, I am very excited to share that SHOP AT HOME did a little feature spotlight on me. Shop At Home is an online coupon hub that provides unlimited access to printable and downloadable coupons, coupon codes and promotions, and cash back to their customers. They work with thousands of online retailers like Gap, Nordstrom, old Navy, Target, J. Crew.

I never buy anything online before I have looked up if there is a coupon for the site I am using! The odds there usually is, so make sure you utilize sites like this!

  2. Word. I totally feel you on the mint toothpaste thing. Reminds me of the time I tried the mint oreos. Not a fan.

  6. I always enjoy reading these things. It's interesting to find out random facts about people. I have a deep belly button too. I guess the best part about that was when I was pregnant my belly button never popped out. So when you have kiddos you have that to look forward to!

  9. I've heard about those Japanese baths from my colleagues (Japanese teachers). OMG, I could NEVER in a million years do that.

Although I sunbathed topless once a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Neighbors probably saw it. Ooops.

    1. I didn't have much of a choice in the matter! We had been staying there for days and it was the only place to shower or bath, so I HAD to! haha It was an experience for sure!

  10. I think I would love the bathhouse now. Birthing two babies and nursing one has made me much freer with my body (not that I've ever been super modest, ask my conservative family!). I'm sure that the birth thing has made it worse for OTHER people to see me naked, but I don't care at all! Hahaha.

  11. Great post! I also posted my ten things after I saw yours thanks for tagging us. I had never heard of those bath houses. I don't think I would enjoy it at first either though I don't even think at all. But then again I've never tried it.

  12. Peanut butter on waffles and pancakes sounds yum! Also, I think that's super cool that you went to a Japanese bath house when you were so young. I think that kind of experience would have been good for me too. :)
