tid + bits

+What is up with me having awesome breakfasts lately? As I have mentioned on the blog before, I have been an active member of the Law Partners group at BYU this past year. This year is coming to an end, and I am going to be on the board next year! We all met up to learn about our responsibilities etc.... oh and to eat amazing crepes. There is ice cream inside that crepe people.... ice cream.

+Speaking of breakfast, isn't it funny how things change as we get older? During the week when I was younger my mother MADE us eat oatmeal for breakfast. I am talking Monday through Friday. We only got the "good" cereal on Saturdays. I absolutely despised it. Hated it with a passion. I would try and put as much brown sugar (as my mom would let me) in it to make it editable. Now as an adult, I love oatmeal :) I eat for breakfast almost every morning! Funny how things change isn't it?

+I am a list maker. I just like to write all kinds of to do lists, or little notes (hey I write little notes on my blog too! haha) to myself. Because of this you will find multiple loose papers all over my apartment, car, office, purse, you name it, there is probably an old, current and future list lying around (thanks mom for this habit!) While writing lists helps me stay organized, I decided I needed a better way to keep them all together (I tend to loose them because they are all loose) So I got this adorable little book to be used solely for my lists :) It is so pretty I have mixed feelings of wanting to use and then feeling guilty for writing on the pretty patterned paper! haha. Anyone else a list maker? Then you understand the immense satisfaction you get from crossing something  OFF your list :)

  3. We are twins haha crepes are my fave! And oatmeal.. When I was a kid, even the smell of it made me want to vomit but I love it now!! Basically my entire purse is filled with old and new to-do lists. I've even got them on my notepad app on my phone.. But there's something about writing them down and crossing them off that brings so much satisfaction :)

  10. umm I feel (as I often do when reading your posts) that we would be very good friends. Or maybe we would be so alike that we wouldn't get along? I don't know, but what I do know is that I also hated oatmeal as a child and now cannot get enough of it, also I love crepes, and I am a chronic list-maker. and it's almost the weekend! have a good one!

It is funny how your tastes change. I hated pretty much everything except grilled cheese and french fries. Now I love almost every fruit and veggie out there.

  22. Breakfast is the best! I am totally a post-it note girl, and I have them everywhere... but never where I really need them. I get the same way about pretty paper though... I get so scared I'll have to cross out a mistake, and the paper won't be cute anymore!
