Law School Roller Coaster!

Let me just start by saying, this whole law school thing has been one crazy adventure! The stress of the LSAT, applying and waiting to hear back from schools is not very "exciting." Well  actually I guess it is exciting, but not when you are waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Trevor studied his buns off for the LSAT and was feeling super confident with his practice tests. Then he got nervous. I have never seen him so nervous ever in my life. He didn't sleep a wink the night before. He ended up scoring about nine points lower then he was averaging on his practice tests. Nine points might not seem like a lot, but in the LSAT world.... it is huge. He was pretty bummed out, but I tried telling him he should still be proud of himself.

He obviously didn't suck as bad as he thought, since he got into all 7 of the law schools he applied to, as well as some scholarship offers! At one point we thought we were for sure going to the University of Utah, then to ASU, and the finally we decided BYU would be the better fit for us (as well as it being Trevor's top pick!)

I just want to say I AM SO PROUD OF YOU TREVOR!
&even though we wont be moving far, I am excited for this new adventure in our life. LOVE YOU.

So that rights people, we are going to BYU LAW SCHOOL!

AND don't think for one second that this means I am a BYU fan now. I will be a die hard UTES fan for LIFE! &if I ever have any BYU apparel, it will clearly say LAW on it and the BYU part can be in the tiny  little hard to read letters, haha.

  16. Congrats to the both of you! My Mr. just graduated law school so I know exactly what you guys are going through. :) Has Trevor heard the token law school phrase, "First year they scare you to death, second year they work you to death and the third year they bore you to death."? haha Although I've actually heard BYU's classes are a little easier than most. :) Good luck!

  29. Congratulations!
I'm so happy to be living in Belgium when I hear your story...
We have 4 universities here. If you wanna go to Brussels, you can just go there. If you wanna go to Leuven, you just go to Leuven, no problem!

And the costs are minimal. In Leuven you pay about 500 euro (Not even 720 dollars!) for one year. On top of that you have to buy books but when I did a year of law school I spent about 400 euro (575 dollars) on that!
