Sydney

Oh what to say about my dear Sydney? I had the opportunity to arrive at the hospital just seconds after she was born. It was one of the most amazing experiences to watch a new baby and her father (my brother). I remember when she was born she had some breathing problems so they had to take her to this room where she was hooked up to all these different things and I watched through the glass windows and my brother just held her little hand with tears in his eyes. I couldn't help but cry. She was fine, but I will never forget the magical experience of getting to be there at the hospital when a baby is born. I had never experienced that before. The love I have for my nieces and nephews scares me, because I don't want to handle the type of love that comes with being a parent then. It is just SO strong already with them.
Sydney will be 3 years old this next October. She is a firecracker. She loves to have fun, be loud, and act like a princess. She is so sweet, but has sassy side. I can't wait for her to get a little older, she will be such a handful as a teenager. My brother is so amazing with his wife and kids. He exudes a pride and love that just makes me proud he cares and loves his family that way. Next month their family will be moving to Utah from Malibu for the summer... not sure if that is a great trade for them, BUT I LOVE the idea of having Sydney and her sister Hayley (who I will talk about soon enough) right by so I can play with them all summer.
I love Sydney SO much, and her personality and spunk. She is a blast, and you can never get over the funny things she says.... My favorite which you wouldn't understand how adorably cute it is, because it is HOW she says it, but when she was younger when you were to ask her any question, even if she knew the answer she would say, "I don't know?!" In the most adorable cutest voice. Another favorite would be the sounds she makes. She makes a lot of sounds... personal favorite, the sound of the Toilet (and NO, her parents didn't teach her this, she picked the sound up all on her own.) She is so beautiful, and I miss her all the time.

I LOVE YOU MY SYDNEY!

  5. She is certainly her fathers daughter. I think by raising Sydney Brandon will understand just a little bit what it was like to raise him. A challenging but rewarding experience.

Yeah... I'm a bit of a thrill seeker. It's in my blood. My dad was... and still is like that. I've calmed down a bit in the last few years, but I'm still down for just about anything. :)
