Galentine's Day Brunch - Emoji Theme

I am excited to finally share some pictures from the adorable Galentine's Day Brunch my friend Michelle hosted. It was emoji themed, and every detail was thought out and brilliant. We enjoyed great food, crafts, and great company (Oakley, Michelle, Dani, Whitney, and Cecilia.)

We all wore a red dress from shabby apple and accessories from shop & apparel, and made a video with dotd films about loving yourself and those around you, which I will be sharing later. The yummy food was from mt. vista catering and provo bakery. All of the fun party decorations/paper goods were from zurchers. The beautiful floral centerpieces were done by foxglove floral and gifts.And the beautiful photography was taken by my girl, Roxana, from Roxana B Photography

  

And again, Michelle put this all together! She was such a generous host. She even let me pump in her bedroom, ha! That is is a true friend people. She really has a talent, and it was so nice to get out of the house and do something. Every girl there has a heart of gold and I loved getting to know them better as we discussed being mothers, women, blogging, and why it is so important for us to love ourselves. Such a great morning! 16. Start the site you have been thinking about for years now.

For years I have wanted to create a space online for my love of food & celebrating, and today is that day! I am thrilled to finally be starting this new project in my life. While managing a full time job marketing, as well as running my personal blog, it felt like at times this wouldn't happen. So it is with much excitement that I introduce you to Alycia Grayce!

Please bear with me over the next month, while I navigate my way through this and work out a few kinks here and there ;)

I figured what better way to kick start things then with a CELEBRATION?! What kind of celebration can you have online? Well the best thing I could think of was a giveaway! And what better thing to giveaway then a Party?

Diamond Blogger Party

Back in October my friend Alix contacted me about planning a blogging party with her. Alix is a party planning guru, and it was so fun to plan something with her! We decided on a diamond theme and thanks to some amazing sponsors, prepared some seriously awesome swag bags. The photo booth and swag bags are enough to do a blog post on alone, so I will be splitting these into two posts :)

I love a good party! We held the event at JCrew and turned it into a shopping party. Great food, great clothes, and great people equals so many things I love in life :) Culinary Crafts catered the event, and can I just tell you... AMAZING food! I was obsessed with this grain salad they had I am determined to find the recipe for.

It was so much fun to plan the night and then to spend it with some pretty talented and creative women. I love connecting with others in the blogging community, and am happy we had such a great turn out! Shopping, food, photo booths, gifts... FUN!

Jalene Taylor was the photographer for the night! She did such a great job capturing the details. You may actually recognize Jalene, her recent pregnancy announcement went viral, "The Taylor Baby" ring a bell? Jalene is such a sweet heart, and I can't wait to share the rest of the pictures she took of me and Trevor back in September!
