Closet Purge

Trevor asked me the other day if I even still blogged anymore... you know when he says that it is never good! haha I have been out of commission lately and sometimes these things happen! Sometimes they need to happen. I haven't been feeling really well, and with work, and life, blogging took a bit of a back seat the last few weeks. It is hard to do it all, all the time. But I am here, and plan on getting back into my blogging groove. Since I have been sick, I haven't been able to dedicate the time I would like to, to getting more organized and settled in since we moved. My closet has been completely unorganized for the past month, and we still have some boxes that need to be unpacked. I made it my goal to get my closet totally done this weekend. A few weekends ago I did a blogger closet sale, and so I was able to really sort out and purge my clothes, which is something that has been needing to happen for years. I still have a handful of items I would like to sell, so check out my posh mark account in the future if you are interested, and the rest I am donating. I am so excited to start fresh!

I couldn't really get a good angle on the shot to show you all my shoes, but I am just giddy there is a place for them :)

I love the closet in our bedroom, for once it fits everything I have! There is still another whole side that isn't shown because that is for Trevor's clothes. Yup, I somehow managed to get my wardrobe down enough that there was room for Trevor's stuff to fit in our closet! haha I am really happy with what I did get rid of, we are talking bags, and bags, of clothes people! I still have a dresser full of clothes, but I have decided that if it doesn't fit in my space in the closet, or my dresser, I don't need it. I really want to get to a place of simplicity and organization. This year I really want to work on building a wardrobe that I not only love but that is also functional. I am so tired of having pieces that just clutter everything up that I am not really using. I am excited to start this transition and have you along for the journey! I am thinking of changing up how I normally do my fashion posts.... stay tuned :)
