a new nephew :)

Last week my Sister Kira and her husband welcomed a new child to their family! Their third son! I have talked about my sister and her family many times on this blog. I have talked about their two adopted sons Evan and Landon. I have talked about how Evan has SMA. I have even talked about my sister's struggles with fertitlity.
Adoption can be a crazy process, one day you have two kids, the next day you have three! Kira and Justin have gone through a lot and are the most incredible people and parents. I think you should all go read about my new nephew Cameron :)

  9. This post warmed my heart. My little sister has Down Syndrome and was born with a hole in her heart as well. Believe me...this little boy will probably become your favorite nephew:)

  11. Oh, he is too precious! I went and left a comment on your sister's blog -- my little brother has Down syndrome and he is beyond amazing. Wanted her to know that if they ever have any questions, or just need someone to talk to, that I would love to chat!

Wishing love and happiness to them and their family.
Congrats on being an aunt, again! xoxo

  18. Congratulations to your sister, her husband, and your entire family on the arrival of your new nephew! What a beautiful little boy, with a wonderful life ahead of him in a loving family. So happy for them.

Also...I went over to read her story on her blog, and totally recognized her! I live in Calgary too, and recently visited the Calgary Temple while they had viewing hours open to the public over the last several weeks. I am sure she was one of the lovely smiling people who greeted us as we started our tour! Small world.

Anyway, so happy for all you!! All the best.

    1. Carli, her and her husband worked the open house of the temple! In fact, that was the day they had a very spiritual experience regarding adopting Cameron :) Such a small world and cool connection!
