Our Team name was SD Sole Sisters... get it? San Diego... "Sole" :) we thought we were pretty clever!

This past Saturday, my little sister and I got together and ran the Color Me Rad 5k :) It was such a blast! I knew there was going to be a lot of color... but boy did they they take their color seriously!

They had guns that actually sprayed wet color on you (that stuff took forever to get out of my sports bra!) along with the dry color... together it made one big mess... and to be honest it was hard to breath while running during the different "color stations" but it was totally worth it. SO MUCH FUN!

It was a fun thing to do on a Saturday morning :) and I am happy we did it. We ended up with so much color everywhere, it went right through our clothes and I ended up looking like an avatar creature! My arm pits are still blue, and I took three showers! My ears had dry powder coming out of them... and my hair was pink for awhile... all in all a very FUN run :) I kind of left wanting to dye my hair some funky color... hmmm? haha

    O goodness, how fun! I love fun 5Ks like this:) My sister and I are dying to do the skirt chaser race! The girls wear skirts and get a 5 min head start and then the boys go chase the girls! And then there is a cocktail/block party afterward...what a blast!

    I did this too! SO fun! Are you doing The Dirty Dash? There's one in June or July in SLC and one in September at Soldier Hollow. That's another FANTASTIC run! :)
