Trevor needed a hair cut BADLY, I am talking you couldn't even see his ears anymore. His sister usually does his hair, but since she and her husband just moved, he was just going to wait until the next time he saw her (hence the months of no hair cut). She was in town and was going to do it, but didn't get down in time before he had to go a study session, so he had to suck it up and go get it done by someone else.
Trevor's hair is BONE STRAIGHT, and when cut too short it kind of just sticks out like fuzz. Well, he ended up hating his hair cut, and to be honest the girl did do a pretty bad job, it wasn't even at all. One side was way longer then the other, haha.
We were heading out to go celebrate his last day of finals and finishing up his first year of Law School and I found him in the bathroom desperately trying to do his hair. Poor guy.
You can't really tell in these pictures how bad the cut is, but you can tell by his face he was no happy camper! Either way, we didn't let it damper our night of celebration!

ReplyDeleteI cannot get my husband to care enough to stick with one person. So it's like a grab-bag every time he gets his hair cut. Sometimes we love it, sometimes we hate it, sometimes it's just 'meh.'
For what it's worth, I don't see anything wrong with the cut! I'm so specific with how I like my boyfriends hair that it's kind of ridiculous haha.
ReplyDeleteOne time, years ago, he had me trim it and man, I had no idea it was so hard to cut a guys hair with an electric trimmer. I butchered it. BAD. He showed up the next day at school with his head shaved and I was SO angry with myself, and then at him for shaving it because it looked awful! I still cringe when I look back at pictures and he has a buzz cut.

oh man, too bad you guy don't live here, my husband is a men's barber and he is FANTASTIC. :) But luckily, it should grow out pretty fast!

Bless him....hopefully he can get it fixed, but I really can't tell that it looks all that bad in the picture. My Husband has had a few bad ones too...one including eventually having to have his head shaved entirely. That was terrible...for me anyway :)

ReplyDeleteMy husband always cuts his OWN hair. He's so cheap, he hates to pay to get it cut and I've been grounded from touching it since the time I did such a bad job it required a buzz cut after.
P.S. I like Trevor's shirt...I bought my hubs the same one awhile back :)

ReplyDeleteThis happens to Dave every single time someone cuts his hair other than my Mom (she's a hairstylist). His isn't stick straight, but it's so thick it has to be cut right or it poofs in certain areas...and they ALWAYS do it uneven! How can people do hair for a living and cut hair uneven? I just don't get it.

Am i the only one? but I really like it! It does look slightly thicker on one side but it's an easy fix and shouldn't cost anything really. Put some hair paste in that bad boy and all should be well!

ReplyDeleteI convinced my boyfriend I could cut his hair/beard as good as the barber so two nights ago I went at it. I pretty much just did the same length all over and he was pretty please. But you can't really go wrong with a buzz cut so I was lucky....

My fiancé is so lazy to get his hair cut, if it wasn't for me he'd get his hair cut once in six months or so but since he has naturally curly hair, he really should get his hair cut every two months or so... I must admit though, I'm a little jealous of how fast his hair grows, hah!
ReplyDeletegosh, my husband is the same way. my sister recently moved up here however and now she has saved our life and does our hair. phew. i would suggest however going to a barber, 10 times better for boys, but really. thats what my husband would do before my sister moved here and it always turned out a million times better then when we would get some stupid girl to do it.

ReplyDeleteI once cried in the shopping mall after a bad hair cut. I walked into the very next hairdressers and they kindly fixed it for half the cost.
ReplyDeleteHahah my boyfriend does this too- lets his hair get SO LONG that he looks like an animal and waits until he goes back home to have his dad cut it. I'm like um, you know that there are 100 places on this block to get your hair cut- go to one. Stop being lazy.
