snowboarding & cabin getaway.

A couple weeks ago we met up with Trevor's family to spend the weekend in a cabin and go snowboarding. It had been WAY too long since I had last been, so the next morning after going all day keeping up with Trevor is hard to do I was hurting. All in all I had a lot of fun, and it made me wish I took advantage of where we live and go more often, so I don't feel like I am re-learning every time I go.

Did you guys know my father-in-law makes THE best bacon I have ever had?
He is teaching me his ways!

While the trip was fun, I did come home with super sore muscles, and with a not so nice case of windburn on my face! Ah! Even with that, it was nice to do something fun for the weekend, sometimes you just need to getaway!

Plus, it was nice to get a whole day of snowboarding in alone with the hubberz, I don't get a lot of time with him like that these days because of Law School :) It was nice, &much needed.

I feel like I never see my boyfriend due to work related stuff all the time. Having some time to do something we both enjoy, with just the two of us, is so wonderful. I'm glad you finally got some time with your hubs!

I'm definitely a little jealous...we didn't get to go skiing this year because of baby girl! I guess that's an ok trade! Snow-covered mountains are one of the most beautiful things ever!

Everyone's posting about their amazing snowboarding/skiing adventures and it's making me want to go SO badly! Unfortunately snow is a little scarce in Africa :/

I just returned from skiing myself! But I was in Montana. Snowmobiling was a challenge for me! I ended up in a lake!
