This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TRESemmé for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
So I have heard this stuff works miracles, and I have been dying to get my hands on some. My sister uses it, and it seems like everyone is using it now! And lets face it, we all have had those mornings where we slept in, there isn't time for a shower, and our hair could use a wash! Also they say it is good to not wash your hair every single day, but if you are a blonde like me, you know how hard that is too... because by the end of one day, it looks horrible and shows grease way more then any other hair color.
Before the only place you could find dry shampoo was in specialty beauty stores, but now you can go pick it up at your local grocery store! I got TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo and couldn't be more excited! There are actually different kinds you can get depending on what you are looking for. The full line includes:
o Strengthening Dry Shampoo: The formula, with B12 vitamins and keratin, helps strengthen hair and leaves it full of healthy body.
o Volumizing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with mineral clay and citrus, removes oil while injecting hair with salon-gorgeous volume.
o Smoothing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with Vitamin H & Silk Proteins, refreshes your straight style by removing excess oil, impurities and odor to ensure your smooth look lasts.
o Moisturizing Waterless Foam Shampoo: The formula, with Witch Hazel, Citrus, and Aloe Vera, refreshes your hair by removing excess oil, impurities and odor while moisturizing hair.
So here are some tips on how to use it!
- Do shake vigorously before use and in between spray bursts for best results.- Do lift sections of dry hair and spray lightly at roots
- Do spray in short bursts, holding 8-12 inches from head
- Don’t spray it like hair spray (all over and continuously)
- Do leave in for 1-2 minutes.
- Do use fingertips or a brush to distribute product evenly
- If clogging occurs, remove nozzle and rinse the nozzle under warm water, then reattach.
AND VOILA! Clean and refreshed hair in minutes :)

I swear by dry shampoo, being a blonde. It's a GODSEND!
ReplyDeleteI heard about this recently and I am so curious to try this out!
ReplyDeleteI picked up a bottle yesterday... anxious to try it out now! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, I saw basically the exact same post on two other blogs-- haha they must be sponsoring a lot of people. But now I definitely want to try dry shampoo!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you have discovered this wonderful product! I, like you, have blonde hair and have joined the "don't wash your hair everyday club" and dry shampoo is the only way I can get away with it cause my hair starts to look grease nasty! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI tried it once and I wasn't so sure it helped! However it was a long time ago and maybe I need to try again! :)
ReplyDeletethey sent me a sample and I love it!! at first (my hair is so dark) I thought I looked grey or dirty colored but after brushing is was much better and definitely cut out my 3 days of greesy-ness. awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI just bought some of this the other day and the spray thing got all jammed up and had to had my husband fix it for me. Other than that, I loved it! :) And I think we totally have the same wedding ring! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE DRY SHAMPOO!!
ReplyDeletedry shampoo is the most amazing thing ever invented. how sad is it that i am a hairstylist and had NO Idea they sold it normal stores. you best believe im heading to target later to pick me up some!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love dry shampoo! Best invention for real!
ReplyDeleteI've never used this brand but I swear by dry shampoo- for the last year and a half I only wash my hair twice a week max. After a couple of weeks your hair produces wayyyyy less oil and I only need dry shampoo on the third or fourth day. It is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I've tried dry shampoo and haven't been that impressed. but I do have SUPER oily hair. I might just be doomed to greasy hair forever.
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing this post. I have wanted to try dry shampoo for a long time, but didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. I feel like this could be a godsend on our annual 5 day camping trip! :)
ReplyDeleteahh, i'm always so skeptical of these things but i'm thinking i should try it out. you were such a good spokesperson! thanks for all the tips!

I use a similar one by Tresemme as well and I love it. Though my bottle is so small.. I couldn't find a larger one.
ReplyDeleteI used to work at a salon where dry shampoo was all the rage! Now that I don't get the discount anymore, I am thrilled that I can still buy some and have great results! :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you finally tried this! I cannot tell you how many times this has saved my busy life haha
ReplyDeleteI've thought about trying this knowing that Kira used it. Now that I've read this post I should. You should make sure Sarah knows about. She could probably use a can as well.

ReplyDeleteYou've mentioned your dry shampoo techniques to me before. Loving this tutorial! I want to see a grody before and after :) , although I'm pretty sure it'd be impossible for you to find a grody before!
ReplyDeletehi! thanks so much for saying hi on my blog yesterday! you are sweet. love the outfits, cute glasses, and i've heard that dry shampoo rocks. thanks for trying it for us :)
ReplyDeleteI have some Suave dry shampoo that works pretty well, but it leaves some slight gray looking residue on my black hair - so it looks a little weird.
ReplyDeleteI may have to step it up to the Tresemme.
Great review!
ReplyDeletep.s: I love your header! (:

I just bought some of this yesterday - I am interested to try it! I just got some extensions, which is a totally new thing for me, so I am hoping using dry shampoo will help make them last longer since I won't be washing constantly! Your post had perfect timing!! :)
ReplyDeleteI've recently stared to wash my hair every other day instead of daily like i always do and have been wanting to give this dry shampoo a go.

Ooooo, interesting! I've been meaning to try dry shampoo for ions and ions, although the idea of it always through me off a bit. BUT I totally accidently bought some dry conditioner a while ago, so now I REALLY need to buy some dry shampoo to go with it. :p Because let's face it...there's no point to just using dry conditioner all by its little old lonesome self. :D
ReplyDelete-giedre
i seriously need to get me some of that!
ReplyDeleteDry shampoo is the a timesaver. i love it!
ReplyDeleteOh yes we love us some dry shamooo!! Is a MUST!
