A random picture of me and my little sister. Because I have been missing her a lot lately.
Silly...
+See post below.... I already knew I spent too much on textbooks over the years.... but dang.
+If school didn't already cost enough already, my cap and gown was a pretty price for something I will only wear once in my life (&it sure isn't as pretty as the other dress I spent a fortune on and only wore once in my life! haha)
+Some people think it is weird when they hear someone calls their parents all the time. I just realized I am one of those people, that others make fun of. I call my parents everyday, multiple times a day :) But I think it is great, &totally not weird!
Serious...
+It is so important to be healthy. Eating right and exercising is so important because your body is a temple and we need to treat it as such. I am thankful for a husband who pushes me to live a healthier lifestyle.

I totally rented my cap and gown. It was 1/5 of the cost of buying it, and I was still able to keep my tassle for memories sake :)
ReplyDeleteI totally call my mom almost every other day; my husband likes to tease me "Somebody loves their mooooommy". I have no shame in calling them a ton either. :)
ReplyDeleteJust wait until you have a baby - your calls will increase dramatically. haha
ok I totally agree with the calling your parents everday. I am married and I still talk to my mom about 3 times ago. It's cool.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget about your in-laws!! We love to hear from you too :)
ReplyDeleteWe love that you call :) I actually saw the prices and didn't think they were that bad. Your high-school cap & gown cost more! That is sweet that you put a picture of you and Sarah since Sarah is at home recovering from her wisdom teeth being removed today. She would love to have you here to watch chick flicks with her :)
ReplyDeleteSisters are the best!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI SO don't think it's weird to talk to your parents everyday. I talk to my mom once a day sometimes more...my dad not so much because he is not a phone talker but, I love it! I miss my seesters out in CA too!
ReplyDeleteI call my mom all the time too, don't feel weird :)

My sister and I are both crazy close with our parents. If we haven't talked to one of them at least once a day, they are calling us to make sure everything is okay!
ReplyDeleteGetting healthy is one of my number 1 things I'm trying very hard to do. It's hard getting rid of all the junk food and horrible greasy stuff I'm putting into my body, but I've noticed when I cut it out and stay cutting it out, I feel SO much better!
I'm always talking to my parents too. :)
ReplyDeleteJust want to let you know I love our blog and nominated you for The Versatile Blogger Award! Thanks for your inspiration!

I call my parents all of the time too! Mostly my mom, my dad is for really short chats :)
ReplyDeleteIt is so stupid to have to pay for the cap & gown. I had to pay for my high school one too. Now come may I'll have 2 gowns that will just sit in my closet. Such a waste of money!
ReplyDeleteThese are great.. and so true. University costs so much money, I was so mad I had to pay so much for my gown. I also call my parents at least once a day. I didn't the first bit of university but they are so important to me!
ReplyDeletealso... our cap was free but our gown cost $40 to RENT. ripoff.
ReplyDeleteEw, school is way way way too expensive in my opinion. Pretty sure textbooks are WAY over priced. I can relate. I don't think it's weird that you call your parents all the time :). I think it's awesome.
ReplyDeleteso cute! I love the bangs. living healthily is definitely a priority that is hard to do well at ALL the time! ;)
ReplyDeletexoxo
i call my mom multiple times a day, too! and then i feel silly when i talk about my child wanting tons of attention (that i happily give! just like she does!) but i guess what goes around comes around?
