Americana with the Girls...

I consider myself extremely fortunate. I have some of  the best most amazing people that I get to call my friends. These two girls mean the world to me. Allie and Katy. This little trio love affair started back in middle school. Since then we have gained more friends, gone to new places, became better versions of ourselves, all in different places now. Yet when we get together again, it is as if we never left that 7th grade classroom. Back in High School on my 16th Birthday, these two beautiful girls surprised me and took me to Americana for Breakfast. It is this beautiful restaurant in Del Mar, right by the ocean. It became a tradition to go for our birthdays. Since college and life started, we have now made it a tradition to go whenever we are in town together. I always look forward to it, and always try to fit it in when I am in town even if I am there only a few days. Well last weekend, even though I had a jam packed schedule, I made time to see two of my favorite girls. I really do consider them two of my closest friends. I love them, and miss them all the time. But I know we will always be friends no matter where we live, or what we are doing. These girls are going amazing places, and I am just happy to say that I know them, and that they are apart of my life.

  5. I love that the three of you continue your tradition and friendship. They are sweet girls and I love them! You too :) I also love how you have a picture of the three of you from middle school still framed in your room - a frame that one of them made you. You also have that fun dress up picture from Six flags from Katie's b'day. Anyhow, keep it up. Even after you've all been married for awhile and have kids. You need to plan a girls retreat or meet at least once a year. Do they read your blog? I hope so. If not you need to send them this link :)
