Kohl’s + Mohawk Rugs - Sneak Peek of our Bedroom!

Slowly but surely we have been making progress on fixing up our house! Recently we painted and started working on the finishing touches of our bedroom. I am excited to show you the whole room soon, but until then I wanted to give you a little sneak peek and showcase the rug we got from Kohls! I wanted something that would add some more texture and color to the room, and this rug jumped out to me when I was browsing. Being perfectly honest, I was nervous about doing a bold print, but once I put it all together in the room it totally paid off, I LOVE IT. We got the 8x10 and have it under our bed. It adds a fun pop of color to the floor, and really ties everything together. I personally think a great rug can be that finishing touch to a space, and can really solidify the look you are going for. Since we have carpet, adding a rug was simply a design element; but if you have wood floors or tile, having a rug under the bed in your bedroom is a great way to have something soft for you to step on when getting in and out of bed. Functional and beautiful, a win win!
