Today is day two of the Target and The Bump Maternity Challenge featuring items from the Liz Lange Maternity Collection! Check out Look One if you missed it ;)

This look was actually what I ended up wearing to my baby shower in San Diego. I wanted something comfortable but a little nicer than your every day look. The Liz Lange item in this look are these adorable jeans! I am actually shocked I ended up wearing jeans to my shower, and here is why. I swore off wearing jeans for most of this pregnancy! I had ordered three different brands of maternity jeans and none of them were working. I felt like a sausage trying to squeeze into a casing and they all drove me crazy once on. I kept going back to leggings over and over again and returned all the maternity jeans I had bought convinced I just wasn't going to wear them when pregnant because they all sucked. Dramatic much? haha I am pregnant, what can I say? When I was looking for pieces for this campaign I reluctantly tried on some of the jeans in Lange's collection, convinced I wouldn't like them just like all the other maternity jeans I had tried. To my surprise they slipped on with ease, no struggling to wedge myself into them! They also were super soft and comfortable, and I didn't feel like I was wearing stiff pants. There is nothing I love more than the jeans and a t-shirt look, so I was thrilled to finally find a pair of maternity jeans that I loved. A match made in heaven with these you guys!

So when it came to wearing a dress or my jeans for my shower, I went for the jeans! I dressed them up with this tunic top, a statement necklace, and some platform heels! I felt put together without being over the top, and I was comfortable. Win, win. I love the ripped detailing in them, and the wash of the jean. You really can dress them up or down to fit any occasion you have going on. These will be well worn for the rest of my pregnancy since I literally went months without wearing jeans and I missed them! haha

  5. Ok I'm so glad someone else has had the same problem as me with maternity pants. Every time I go shopping for maternity clothes I end up on the verge of tears because no bottoms fit correctly. I don't know why it seems like all maternity pants are either frumpy or so skinny with no stretch that you would have to have stick legs to fit into them. I honestly want to start designing maternity clothes. It's been the biggest struggle for me. I've seen some really cute things that probably fit great but they're waaaay out of my budget. The struggle is real!! I just wear a dress almost every day now and will for the next 2 months in the Arizona heat :)

  6. You look great with the wedges. I didn't know that even during pregnancy, wearing heels can make such a difference on overall outlook.
