Little Notes.

Top: Jcrew Dress: F21 Shoes: Target Necklace: Nordstrom

So yesterday I mentioned the topic of dressing for ourselves or for our husbands. Ironically when I walked out in this outfit Trevor instantly informed me that you are NOT ALLOWED to wear plaid with stripes! "Don't you know that?" he questioned me. In which I responded, "Didn't you know it is all about mixing patterns right now?!" haha He is very puzzled by this look and this trend. While I think this trend is a little daring, it can be fun :) This dress with the top are super duper comfy. Paired with some sandals, it was perfect for a sunny spring afternoon. Sorry Trevor, I vetoed you on this one :)

*Documenting my style to make sure I keep the promise to myself, to always be fully dressed with a smile.

Dear Earplugs,
Thanks for doing the trick while attending one of Trevor's favorite band's concerts.
---If you knew the kind of music my husband liked to listen to, you would know why I have invested in having ear plugs on hand :)

Dear Easter,
You are always such a beautiful time of year, in meaning and nature! I love Spring :)

Dear Dishwasher,
I am so so so grateful for you. The first two years of mine and Trevor's marriage without you was very difficult. I will never not have a dishwasher again! haha :)

Dear Readers,
Thanks for taking my poll! I think I am going to start off with doing a link up for my tid + bits if you all want to join in THIS THURSDAY! You can do the tid + bits anytime during the week or even next, the link up with stay up for 7 days.

Still deciding if I should do a link up for my Life's Little Notes. I know there are several other versions of this kind of post out there, I started doing mine back in November of last year. I guess I will let you guys know soon, so you can put together some of your own little notes :) I always appreciate the input, so thank you!

Hope you all had a great Easter weekend :)

  41. Love the stripes with a pop of color! I have done the black and white stripes with the black and white gingham but I am thinking my trusty pink gingham needs to make an appearance! There is something to be said for a long dress where you don't have to be all lady like yet still look put together! :) Your husband literally sounds just like mine... They just don't get the fashion thing... But I think we'd be a little worried if they did :)
