...all we eat is corn...

I am currently working on my Senior Paper.
My topic has gone back and forth many different times, trying to narrow down different thoughts and ideas that I want to talk about.
Even though my paper has geared away from this topic, it is still something I am very passionate about.
If you haven't read Michael Pollan's,  The Omnivore's Dilemma, then you need to!
It will totally change how you view food, and products in general to be honest.

I am thrilled they have decided to make a film about this subject!
I can't wait to see it :)

  7. Yes, all we eat is corn. It's no wonder Americans are so sick. I saw the bulk of Food Inc. I haven't eaten fast food since then, well I've had Arby's chicken poppers and curly fries. :)

  9. I saw the movie Food Inc. and I will never eat pork again. Incredible movie - really. It is really sad to see how our food is more like a governmental game than simply a source of nutrition. So glad people out there appreciate this! Thanks for this post!

  15. Dad read it, then he gave it to Brandon to read, now you've read it. I guess it's time I read it. Why has your paper moved away from the book? You'll have to tell me.

  16. They have a documentary called Food Inc. that's on netflix. I dunno if it's the same thing, but I've been debating whether or not to watch it. I've watched a different one about food before though, and my mind was blown! It was amazing to hear about how changing our diets can completely change our health- and it was kind of a 'duh' thing as well. Our bodies are perfectly capable of healing and taking care of themselves.. if we give it the nutrients it needs and treat it right.

  18. Food Inc. changed everything for my husband and I. We started eating totally differently and researching lots of other things that go along with it. Now we are totally hippies and it cracks me up. And it seriously all started when we watched that movie like a year ago.
