My mother doesn't wear make up. You would think that means she didn't care or do much in regards to beauty huh? Well that is where you would be wrong. My mother has some of the best skin I have ever seen! My mom is sunscreen and lotions biggest advocate! Over the years I watched her religiously apply both all the time. She was always after me about applying sunscreen and using lotion after hot showers. By far that is THE best advice for beauty that there IS! If the base isn't healthy, how can we accentuate that with make up? My mother doesn't need make up because her skin glows. Because of her I know that my skin will be more beautiful, and not just beautiful but healthy. I can't imagine all the extra skin damage that I could have if she wasn't so diligent about me wearing sunscreen. So THANK YOU MOM!

In the spirit of mother's day, make sure to leave your mom's best advice she ever gave you (about anything!) in the comments below!

You can enter this giveaway through Rafflecopter now through Sunday, May 12th on any of the participating blogs.  Good luck and Happy Mother's Day to all your mamas.

  2. Best advice my mom gave to me about beauty is to never get too drastic on the eyebrows! oh did I mention that she said this AFTER I had ruined them by tweezing way too much in width and length!

  24. When I finally grew out of the children's size of clothes (trust me, it took forever to get some curve. But now I fear I'll never get rid of my booty, ha ha!) my mom took me shopping for jeans. I remember crying in the dressing room because I thought I was so "big" because I couldn't fit in size 0 pants. My mom told me it's how it looks, not the size that matters! Isn't that so true? My closet is full of a variety of sizes, depending on how the piece looks on me :)
